Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty in Rancho Cucamonga

Not sure about surgery? We can help make subtle changes to improve the appearance of your nose with a few well-placed filler injections

A non-surgical nose job can help improve the appearance of the nose with the injection of fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane or Juvéderm. This can improve the appearance of nasal bumps, a flat nose, or a drooping tip and can soften sharp angles safely and quickly without the recovery involved with a surgical procedure. It’s also a great to visualize how your nose may look after rhinoplasty surgery if you’re considering the procedure but aren’t sure of the outcome.

How non-surgical rhinoplasty works

Dr. Jacob Haiavy has been performing non-surgical nose jobs for more than 10 years—and he has shared his technique with his associate cosmetic surgeons, Dr. Irene Tower and Dr. Emma Ryan. The procedure typically takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Depending on your personal preference, we may begin by applying a topical numbing cream or some local anesthesia to ensure your comfort.

After examining your nose and listening to your concerns and goals, special blunt needles are used to strategically fill in depressions, smooth bumps, or add projection to a flat nose or a flat tip. The procedure is done with your active participation and feedback as you can see the results in the mirror immediately. There is some minor swelling right after the procedure, though this will resolve fairly quickly. Patients usually go back to their work or normal routine shortly after the treatment. Bruising is rare with non-surgical rhinoplasty.

  • Immediate Results: Unlike surgical rhinoplasty, non-surgical rhinoplasty offers immediate results, with the final appearance visible as soon as the procedure is completed.
  • No Surgery Required: This method avoids the need for incisions, anesthesia, and the risks associated with surgical procedures.
  • Minimal Downtime: Recovery time is significantly less compared to surgical rhinoplasty, with most people able to return to their normal activities immediately.
  • Temporary and Reversible: If the results are not as desired, many types of fillers used in non-surgical rhinoplasty are reversible or will naturally dissolve over time.
  • Less Risk of Complications: Non-surgical rhinoplasty carries fewer risks than surgical options, particularly in terms of infection, scarring, and complications related to anesthesia.
  • Cost-Effective: A non-surgical nose job is typically less expensive than traditional rhinoplasty surgery.
  • Enhanced Nasal Symmetry and Shape: It can correct minor deformities, smooth out bumps, lift the nasal tip, and improve nasal symmetry.
  • Ideal for Minor Adjustments: Non-surgical rhinoplasty is perfect for individuals looking for minor adjustments or those who wish to test how a permanent change might look.
  • Fully Customizable: The procedure can be tailored to meet the specific needs and aesthetic goals of the individual.
  • Quick Treatment Time: The procedure is typically fast, often completed in less than half an hour, making it a convenient option even for those with busy schedules.
  • Dermal Fillers: Injectable substances used in non-surgical rhinoplasty to modify the shape and contours of the nose. Common fillers include hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite.
  • Dorsal Hump: A prominence on the nasal bridge that can be smoothed or camouflaged using injectable fillers in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • FDA Approved: Refers to products that have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in medical treatments, including certain fillers used in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: A substance naturally present in the skin, used as a dermal filler in non-surgical rhinoplasty for reshaping and volumizing.
  • Injection Points: Specific locations on the nose where fillers are injected during non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Juvéderm: A brand of hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler often used in non-surgical rhinoplasty due to its smooth consistency and effectiveness.
  • Liquid Nose Job: A colloquial term for non-surgical rhinoplasty, emphasizing the use of injectable fillers to reshape and contour the nose.
  • Nasal Tip Projection: The degree to which the tip of the nose extends outward; can be adjusted with fillers in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Nose Bridge: The upper part of the nose, often adjusted in non-surgical rhinoplasty to alter height or straighten its appearance.
  • Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty: A cosmetic procedure that reshapes the nose using injectable fillers, without surgical intervention.
  • Radiesse: A brand of dermal filler known for its use of calcium hydroxylapatite, providing structure and stimulating collagen in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Recovery Time: The period post-procedure for healing. Non-surgical rhinoplasty typically involves minimal to no downtime.
  • Restylane: A brand of hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler used for its effectiveness in adding volume and contouring in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
  • Rhinoplasty: A surgical procedure to alter the nose’s shape or function. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is an alternative approach using fillers.
  • Symmetry: The harmonious balance of the nose’s shape and size; non-surgical rhinoplasty can enhance nasal symmetry.

What fillers are used in non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Radiesse is a safe FDA-approved filler for deep lines and wrinkles on the face. It is made of calcium hyroxy-appetite and can last nine to 12 months. Dr. Haiavy, Dr. Tower, and Dr. Ryan use it for structural contouring of facial features such as the nose, cheeks, chin, and jaw line. When injected repeatedly, this material has been shown to stimulate some native collagen production. Non-surgical rhinoplasty patients usually get this injection once a year.

Restylane and Juvéderm are safe and reliable injectable fillers made of hyaluronic acid, a compound that exists naturally in our bodies. These fillers can also be used for non-surgical rhinoplasty. They are hydrophilic and provide results that can last six to nine months. Results are reversible if hyaluronic acid-based fillers are used.
