Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) Photo GalleryEyelid surgery, surgically known as blepharoplasty, is an operation that corrects sagging eyelids as well as bags and bulges about the eyes. Aging often leads to laxity of the eyelid skin and protrusion of fat around the eyes, causing a tired and an older appearance. The eyelid surgery that we perform can restore your youthful look. During the procedure, an incision is made in the eyelid skin along the natural lines and creases. Through these incisions excess skin, fat or muscle is removed depending on each patient. In certain cases where there is bulging fat without excess skin in the lower eyelid, a procedure called transconjuctival blepharoplasty can be used. This procedure uses an incision inside the lower eyelid to avoid scarring on the lower eyelid and minimize post-operative complications such as lid lag. Click on images for larger viewing.
